Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: April 2026

StackForge participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means we may earn a commission when you click on links to hosting providers and make a purchase — at no additional cost to you.

How This Affects Our Reviews

Our reviews, ratings, and recommendations are based solely on our independent testing methodology. We do not accept payment for positive reviews or alter our ratings based on commission structures. Hosts we recommend less frequently may actually pay higher commissions than those we rank #1.

As an example: WP Engine pays a higher per-sale commission than Cloudways, yet we rank Cloudways #1 for most agency use cases because our benchmark data supports that recommendation.

Our Testing Process

All hosting accounts reviewed on StackForge are paid for by us directly — no free trials, no complimentary accounts in exchange for coverage. We run identical WordPress + WooCommerce installations and measure real performance metrics using GTmetrix, WebPageTest, and UptimeRobot across three geographic locations.
